Five areas, chosen with care.
A family foundation, giving quietly and carefully to well-run South African charities. Patient, accountable, and built to last.
We support registered South African charities working where the need is greatest, with priority given to organisations close to our home in Hillcrest. Giving back has always mattered to us, and we believe real change starts with the community on your doorstep.
We back registered charities because it keeps every contribution accountable and makes sure it reaches the people it is meant for. Whether it is feeding schemes, education, animal welfare, or caring for the vulnerable, we would rather offer support that is practical and lasting than a once-off gesture. Where we can, we build ongoing relationships with the causes we back, so our help grows alongside their work.
Education & early childhood
Academic support for children who would otherwise fall behind, from early childhood development to foundational schooling.
Elderly care
Dignity, company, and practical support for older South Africans, especially those over sixty living alone.
HIV/AIDS care
Prevention, treatment support, and counselling for those living with HIV and the people who care for them.
Poverty relief
Meeting urgent need, including food, warmth, and the basics, through organisations the community already trusts.
““Good stewardship means finding people who are already doing good work, supporting them well, and trusting them to get on with it.”
Are you a registered charity doing this work?
Nominations come through our family and trustees, but we’re always glad to learn about well-run PBOs working in our areas. Introduce yourselves.
